Reverend Barbara Berg March Message I have been serving as pastor of the Watertown Moravian Church since March, 2000. My experience with this church family is that it is warm and welcoming. Our Sunday School has been growing over these last few years with more baptisms than funerals for our congregation.
The Moravian church is the oldest Protestant denomination, dating back to 1415, and has been sending missionaries all over the world since the early 1700’s. We worship God in spirit and in truth, with a focus on Jesus as Lord and Savior. You will experience a down-to-earth approach to faith and life that seeks to emphasize hope and love and personal relationships and de- emphasizes doctrines and creeds.

My favorite Bible verse is John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Learning that verse as a girl at my church in Illinois has very special memories.

My favorite Bible verses are found in Proverbs 3:5 & 6:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
