Sunday School and Fall Schedule Begins 2007
With a successful, high-energy Vacation Bible School behind us we are ready for a
new year of Sunday School.
Our Fall Schedule begins Sunday, September 9 with two worship times: 8 a.m. and
10:15 a.m. It is also the first Sunday of Sunday School beginning at 9 a.m. for all
ages. You are invited to attend the Opening Day S.S. Breakfast in Bohnsack Hall.
Students will be registered, teachers will be introduced, a schedule for the Sunday
School year 2007-08, and any questions answered.
We are continuing with our Rotation Model of Sunday School with each theme being
studied for four weeks, with students “traveling” to one of four stations: computers;
movies; kitchen; and, games.
If you would like to volunteer to either teach one of the rotations, or be a shepherd
who moves with the students from one rotation to the next, please be in touch with
Dick Heiden (261.2603) and let him know of your interest.
The Kids Of The Kingdom, a choir for children who are in 1st through 6th grades,
was organized over the summer.
The Kids will practice Nov. 4, Nov. 18, Dec. 2, and Dec. 16, followed at 3 p.m. with
the Youngsters Youth Group at 4 pm.
