
Food Pantry- Contributions are made to the Food Pantry with donations of food.
The Food Pantry items for March are canned lunches, i.e., hash, beef
stew, spaghettO's, macaroni with beef.
Any other items and/or donations are always accepted and welcomed and can be
placed in the shopping cart in the back of the sancturay.
Meals on Wheels- Deliveries of meals are made to local residents scheduled
for two week periods twice yearly.
The coordinator for Watertown Moravian Church is Terry Letts.
Bread and Roses- community dinner offered weekly. Local churches are
responsible for particular weeks during the year. Contact Cindy Heiden at 920-

Joyful Noise Offerings- Financial Support for various community projects and
interests.
The February Joyful Noise will go to Smile Train. This charity focuses on one set
of problems--cleft lips and palates. Clefts are a major problem in developing
countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired
clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly, aren't allowed to attend school or hold
a job, and face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain, and
heartache. The cost for the surgery is $250 per child.
The March Joyful Noise will go to the Watertown Humane Society.
Marquardt Memorial Manor- Scheduled assistance for residents, provides
joint-Lenten services, and Women's Fellowship
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Marquardt Hospice, a non-profit organization providing compassionate end of life
care. Volunteer opportunities include the following:
• Patient Care- reading to patients, playing games, companionship, gentle
touch program, etc.
• Companionship--assist with our companionship for the dying program,
telephone follow-up calls to families, sending out mailings, etc.
• Administrative- answering telephone calls, filing, making copies, etc.
• Prayer Shawl Ministry- crocheting or knitting shawls for patient’s

Vacation Bible school and camping support in Morongo, CA. Trip
scheduled summer, 2010.
Ed Dehnert, Barb Weide, Stacy and Taylor Wickert left for Banning,
California, on Thursday, July 23, returning on August 4, 2008. They helped
with the Vacation Bible School at Morongo Moravian Church.
Vacation Bible School in the Bethel, Alaska, area.
The Watertown Moravian Church Vacation Bible School staff traveled to
Bethel, Alaska, in June to take the children to Power Lab to discover
Jesus' Miraculous power. Donations of various supplies were requested.
Work crews to Bethel, Alaska, summer 2009. Trip scheduled June, 2010.
Work with the homeless in New York City
Work crews to missions in the Caribbean and Central America
Mount Morris Camp and Conference Center- camps for all ages from
Grade 1 through adult

4M (Mini Moravian at Mt. Morris– August 16-18 (completed grades 1 & 2)
Jr. Camp: June 28-July 2 (completed grades 3-5)
Winmor: July 25-31 (completed grades 6-8)
Chetek: July 18-24 (completed grades 8 – age 21)
